Why Animas
I switched to Animas for several reasons such as the learning styles and the culture. I’ve already realized how open everyone is for one another. Both teachers and students are all accepting of everyone, things are even modified to create a more comfortable environment. This wasn’t happening over at my old school. My previous teachers would attempt to make things more enjoyable by trying different projects or last year I was introduced to my first seminar. Here at Animas though they actually bring the classes together, they moved the classes around to feel more involved with other students we normally wouldn’t
interact with. Projects here can be presented in unique ways due to being primarily student-led. Something that we all share though is that every one of us has our own website that can be viewed by anyone. Even emails are a more reliable reference than having to go and find posters of all the events happening. These are visual sources of our professionalism. It appears that Animas focuses on visual and hands-on learners so not only do we hold a lot of our information on computers but we also present this in projects. I’ve chosen Animas for a better learning experience and to feel more involved.
